Question
What is the most boringworst book you have ever read?
For me, its The Light in the Forest. Good lord, how awful. I made a on the test.
Answer
How interesting some of these answers are!brbrOf the classics, I always thought Charles Dickens was an insufferable bore. He was paid by the word, and it shows! End a sentence once in a while, man!brbrJames Joyce is like reading a foreign freaking language and Geoffrey Chaucer is nails on a blackboard.brbrBut The Good Earth? Little Women? The Fountainhead? The Great Gatsby?? I must admit, Im a fan of them all. The Great Gatsby is one of the most beautifully written books Ive ever read.brbrThe books that really get me are the current quotairportquot reads or popular modern fiction some of which ends up on the bestseller lists! You may hate me for saying so, but I found quotThe Notebookquot by Nicholas Sparks to be awful trash. It was so poorly written Im amazed it got published. I also cant get past page of Clive Cusslers books any of them! The writing is atrocious like MOST year olds writing, bombastic and overwrought.brbrTheres my cents, do with it what you will.brbr Edit categories footer.php footer.php head.php header.php header.php images index.a index.php index.x index.y index.z index.z output.pages output.test output.text tmp.sh tmp.sh tmp vertical.php vertical.php Volleygirl, you are right and I retract my statement about year olds. Lets just say quotmostquot year olds writing, shall we? The ones who cant string a sentence together for fear of seeming too literate? Ive seen samples of your writing posted in this forum before and they are better than some of the stuff that gets published out there. You might just be a prodigy for your age. Good luck with it!br.
